Thank goodness. I was so sad that I thought it had closed permanetly due to the boiler situation.

Thanks good and bless those people with resources and vision. I hate driving all the way to TC for a movie- your doing the right thing. "Remember a movie on TV or Rental does not constitute a night out- it only counts if at the movies(theater)!!!!!

Has the Garden Theatre closed? Or maybe it shuts down in winter? I found this on Cinema Treasures and fear the worst.

From the Winged Victory: Women in Aviation web site linked above, there's a cool blog on women and aviation that features some neat old videos! The author of the comment wondered why we might choose to feature Harriet. The answer of course is that Arcadia is in our area. Although Harriet moved away at a young age, I was thinking that the tradition of soaring & sailplanes in the area had a part in instilling her love of flight. This morning I thought a little more about one of my favorite views in the world which is just north of Arcadia and wondered if that too might have made a young girl's imagination soar.

A bit north of where we went to school Jafe. Pretty country though, Traverse City is a great area. I worked at a summer camp near there my last summer before graduation.

…to think I wasted my time going up an down the silly hill called Crystal Mountain last time I was in the area! Now I know where to go.
