We figured that before summer is over, we should give a shout-out to the Cherry Bowl Drive in Theater. This classic drive-in is located in Honor, Michigan and has provided "Fine Film, Food, Fun and Family Entertainment" since it was opened in 1953. Their goal is provide clean, wholesome family entertainment in a safe atmosphere and won't play any film stronger than PG13 (or glorifies teen drinking and/or drug use).
While they boast Northern Michigan's largest movie screen, the real show happens before the picture, when viewers can enjoy vintage cartoons and advertisements and fun activities like miniature golf, hula-hooping and all the great memorabilia collected by the Cherry Bowl. With great tasting homemade and handmade food at Cherry Bowl Dinner and great movies on the screen, you can't go wrong at the Cherry Bowl!
