The Cherry Bowl Drive in Theater

The Cherry Bowl Drive-in

We figured that before summer is over, we should give a shout-out to the Cherry Bowl Drive in Theater. This classic drive-in is located in Honor, Michigan and has provided “Fine Film, Food, Fun and Family Entertainment” since it was opened in 1953. Their goal is provide clean, wholesome family entertainment in a safe atmosphere and won’t play any film stronger than PG13 (or glorifies teen drinking and/or drug use).

While they boast Northern Michigan’s largest movie screen, the real show happens before the picture, when viewers can enjoy vintage cartoons and advertisements and fun activities like miniature golf, hula-hooping and all the great memorabilia collected by the Cherry Bowl. With great tasting homemade and handmade food at Cherry Bowl Dinner and great movies on the screen, you can’t go wrong at the Cherry Bowl!

Welcome to betsiebay.net!

Frankfort Harbor Entry by Ken Lakebetsiebay.net is designed to help you get more out of visiting or living in the area from Frankfort to Manistee to Empire to Traverse City – and maybe further.

We like things like music, art, books, food, the wide-open outdoors and all it offers in every season  We’re interested in the growth in our area and work that’s being done to channel it into a force that makes our lives better and preserves what we love about the area. We want to learn how folks are making their living, be it on the cutting edge or in the same trades as their grandparents.

In short, we’re interesting in living in the place we love and making it better for those who are here now and who come after us.
