Trading Post Canoe Rentals offers two different tours down the scenic Platte River. The Lower Platte option offers canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. A great trip for the whole family or beginning canoers. Total trip time is about 2 1/2 hours and ends at a sandy beach on lake Michigan.

The Upper Platte River is much faster than the lower Platte River. More oriented towards the experienced canoer. Total trip time is about 3 1/2 hours and ends about 1 mile from The Trading Post on Deadstream Road.

The Trading Post is located at 8294 Deadstream Road, just off of highway US 31, in Honor, Michigan.
